SELAH PORTFOLIOS & PLANNING WAS BORN IN 2019 WITH THE GOAL OF BRINGING CONFIDENCE AND ORGANIZATION TO PEOPLE'S FINANCIAL LIFE THROUGH EDUCATION, STEWARDSHIP AND EMPOWERING WISE DECISION MAKING 

Finances can feel so overwhelming, shameful & stressful. My passion is helping alleviate those feelings and helping get people on the path toward feeling confident in themselves & their financial future.

MY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

After graduating from Vanguard University with a degree in Business Administration, I was like most people in their early 20s and had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. (Fun Fact: I graduated from college in 2.5 years). After getting married and living in Seattle for a couple years - I moved back to Orange County in 2010 and began working in my dad's financial firm, starting as admin and eventually getting licensed in 2015 (shortly after my 3rd child was born - it was a crazy year!). During that time I developed a passion for helping people with their finances. In August of 2019, I started Selah Portfolios & Planning with the desire to grow my own business and continue to help people with a topic that can cause so much stress & anxiety. My entire goal of Selah is to bring confidence and organization to people's financial life so that they can use their energy elsewhere instead of wasting it stressing about their finances.

Our process is aimed to help simplify, organize and reduce your stress in your finances. I understand that past mistakes with finances can bring so much shame, and this is not where I want you to stay. Through our process we will spend time discussing your values & financial goals for your future so that we can help implement a strategy suited for your particular needs. That way you can move forward with confidence knowing that the steps you are taking financially have you on the right track toward your goals but all while keeping your specific values in mind.

STEP ONE: INTRO CALL

We often start with a 15-minute phone call just to get the first initial questions out of the way and see if it makes sense to setup our first meeting.

STEP TWO: NEEDS ANALYSIS

During our first meeting we will get into the details of your finances so I can get a better picture of where you are currently. We will also discuss your goals and values so we can put a plan together to determine how you will get there.

STEP THREE: PROPOSED SOLUTIONS

After our initial meeting, I'll put together a proposal with some first-step solutions that I would recommend for your situation. If this is agreed upon, we will move forward in working together.

STEP FOUR: IMPLEMENTATION

We will gather the rest of the necessary information in order to open up your investment accounts and start implementing your first few steps.

STEP FIVE: REFINMENT

Once we start the implementation process, we will refine any next steps as well as start our cadence of strategy sessions agreed upon to keep your finances on the forefront of your annual planning. Getting finances organized can be a big process, so we will just take it one step at a time!
